At Delilah’s Sweet Glow Creations, your safety is important to us. Please read and follow these candle safety guidelines when using our products.
General Candle Safety
To ensure safe use of your candle:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep candles away from children and pets
- Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface
- Keep candles away from flammable materials such as curtains, paper, or fabrics
- Do not burn candles near drafts, vents, or fans
Burning Guidelines
For the best performance and safety:
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use
- Do not burn candles for more than 3–4 hours at a time
- Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn
- Stop using the candle when about ½ inch of wax remains
Container Safety
Our candles are designed to burn safely when used as intended. However:
- Candle containers may become hot during use
- Always allow the candle to cool before touching or moving it
- Never use water to extinguish a candle
